South Woodham Ferrers is on the River Crouch, north of Rayleigh and east of Wickford. We cover the town centre round Queen Elizabeth II Square and all the estates around it, out to Battlesbridge.
Most of the town was built from the 1970s as a planned new town. Those first fuse boards are now 30 to 50 years old. So board upgrades, faults on circuits that have been added to and EICRs when homes are sold make up most of the work.
Marsh Farm Country Park runs down to the river. The antiques centre at Battlesbridge is just up the road.
