Corringham joins on to Stanford-le-Hope, so we are there most weeks. We cover the town centre, the estates round Giffords Cross and the old village round St Mary's church.
A lot of Corringham was built in the 1950s and 60s for workers at the Coryton refinery. Those houses are now 60 years old or more. Many have fuse boxes and wiring that are well past their best, so rewires and fuse box upgrades are a big part of the work here.
Corringham Marshes run down to the river and the old refinery site is now Thames Enterprise Park. Langdon Hills Country Park is just to the north.
