Electrical Safety Checks (EICRs)
An EICR is a health check for the wiring in a home. We test every circuit, look inside the fuse box and check the earthing. Anything worn or unsafe goes in a written report. Each fault gets a grade, so you know what must be fixed now and what can wait.
Rented homes in England need one at least every five years. There are lots of rented flats and houses across Southend, Grays and Basildon, so we do a lot of these. How often do I need an EICR?
Rented homes in England need one at least every five years. For your own home, every ten years is the usual advice. Get one sooner if you are buying or selling.
How much does an EICR cost?
