Chafford Hundred sits right next to Lakeside, on the west side of Thurrock. We cover the whole estate, from the station and Drake Road out to the roads round Warren Gorge.
The estate was built from the late 1980s on old chalk pits. So the homes are newer than most in Thurrock, but many of the first fuse boards are now over 30 years old. A lot of houses here are let, which means EICRs, board upgrades and faults on circuits that have been added to.
Chafford Gorges Nature Park runs through the old quarries, with Lakeside Shopping Centre just over the road.
